    We collect the following information directly from you when you use the App:
     Account Information: Email address and password (stored securely through Supabase
    Auth).
     Jewelry & Portfolio Data: Item names, weights, purity, categories, notes, and purchase
    details.
     Photos: Images you upload of jewelry items (stored securely in Supabase Storage).
    1.2. Automatically Collected Information
    We collect limited technical data required for app functionality:
     Device model and OS version
     Anonymous usage logs to improve performance
     Network availability to sync data with Supabase
    1.3. Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Touch ID)
    If enabled, biometric authentication is handled entirely on your device.
    Jevvels never receives or stores your Face ID/Touch ID data.

    We use your information only to provide and improve Jevvels, including:
     Creating and managing your account
     Storing your jewelry portfolio securely
     Displaying metal values calculated from weight and purity
     Syncing your data across sessions
     Improving app reliability and performance
     Supporting account recovery and customer service
    We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
  3. How We Store and Protect Your Data
    Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted storage and secure
    authentication.
    We protect your information through:
  • TLS/HTTPS encryption
  • Secure password hashing via Supabase Auth
  • Encrypted object storage for photos
  • Access-control rules that prevent unauthorized data access
  • No biometric data sent to servers

    Jevvels uses the following trusted third-party services:

     User authentication
     Secure database storage
     Secure photo storage
     API and network operations
    Supabase follows industry-standard security and GDPR compliance.
    Jevvels does not use:
     Advertising networks
     Data brokers
     Analytics SDKs that track users
     Social media trackers
  2. Permissions We Request
    The App may request the following permissions:
     Photos: To let you upload images of your jewelry.
     Camera (optional): To capture jewelry photos directly in the app.
     Face ID / Touch ID: For secure on-device login only.
     Network access: To authenticate and sync your encrypted data.
    We do not access your photos or media unless you explicitly choose them for upload.
  3. Data Retention & Account Deletion
    6.1. Retention
    We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
    6.2. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
This permanently removes:
 Your user account
 All jewelry data
 All stored photos
 All metadata and associated records
This action cannot be undone.

  1. Children’s Privacy
    Jevvels is not intended for use by children under 13.
    We do not knowingly collect data from children.
  2. Your Rights
    Depending on your region, you may have the right to:
     Access your data
     Correct inaccurate information
     Request deletion
     Request export of your data
     Withdraw consent to certain data uses
